Another victim of the pandemic lockdown is the Redneck Fishing Tournament out of Bath, IL. People on Facebook grieved the tournament being canceled.
This annual tournament is for fun and getting rid of the invasive Asian Carp from Illinois waters. Unfortunately, this is the second year in a row the tournament has been canceled. The Redneck Fishing Tournament was also canceled last year due to boat launch damage caused by flooding.
I predict 2021 tournament year will be packed with entrants. People have been cooped up and they are desperate to make up for lost time.
